Offshore Licensing Rounds
The introduction of The Offshore Petroleum Licensing (Offshore Safety Directive) Regulations 2015 now requires all prospective licensees to submit safety and environmental capability (Appendix C) submissions to support their applications.

Orbis has previously prepared Appendix C submissions for a number of operators in the 27th, 28th and 29th Offshore Licensing Rounds. In addition, Orbis has prepared a number of out of round applications for prospective licensees, in accordance with the requirements of The Offshore Petroleum Licensing (Offshore Safety Directive) Regulations 2015.
Onshore Licensing Rounds - Statements of Environmental Awareness
A detailed Statement of Environmental Awareness is required to be submitted, to show the applicant’s understanding of the environmental sensitivities relevant to the licence area which is being applied for.
Operators must also have clearly defined Environmental Management Systems that conform to the principles in ISO 14001 or provide a commitment that such a system will be developed and implemented before any onshore operations commence.
Orbis has previously prepared Statements of Environmental Awareness for a number of operators in the 14th Onshore Licensing Round.
