regulations and international models for HSE management (e.g. OHSAS 18001 and
ISO 14001).
Services
Orbis has extensive experience in the design and implementation of HSE Management Systems within the oil and gas industry that satisfy the requirements of UK regulations and international models for HSE management (e.g. OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001), whilst ensuing that sufficient flexibility is allowed to achieve this in a manner best suited to our client’s business needs and risks. Having an effective HSE Management System in place is essential for operators to achieve:
From a regulatory perspective, in order to gain approval from OPRED as an operator on the UKCS, or as an onshore operator, companies must provide OPRED with details of their Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of OSPAR Recommendation 2003/5. In addition, the implementation in the UK of Directive 2013/30/EU on Safety of Offshore Oil & Gas Operations has placed greater scrutiny on Operator’s Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
Orbis is keeping up to date with these changes in order to ensure we can brief and support operators accordingly.
